Since my brother-in-law restores older cars, he has a lot of products on hand to keep those cars looking their best. This product, Gunk Tar-N-Bug Remover, is something he uses on his regular vehicles as well.
Tar is one of the hardest things to get off of your vehicle, as well as those nasty bug deposits. With this product, it isn't such a hard task.
For tar removal, you spray the surface lightly, wait about two minutes, then rub with a cloth or sponge that has a small amount of the Tar-N-Bug Remover on it. For bug removal, the cloth or sponge you are using should be dampened with water first. A small amount of the Tar-N-Bug Remover on the cloth/sponge should then be wiped over the deposit, and then the surface should be rinsed with water after removal.
This product should be kept away from children and animals. These are chemicals and should be treated with care. Please always read the warnings on the label of this and any other product like it. It is also best to pretest the product first on any painted, varnished, lacquered or plastic surface just to be safe. If you accidentally get it on a surface where it should not be, you are instructed to flush with water.
Gunk Tar-N-Bug Remover seems to do its job. I don't like using a lot of chemicals myself, but my brother-in-law has used it and is always careful.
