My baby was born with little hair. Although I am not really very concerned about it because I know that eventually my baby's hair will just grow, many well-meaning people are obssessed by it. Many people had suggested that I use apply oil on my baby's scalp everyday to stimulate hair growth. Then I found the hair oil that was specifically made for baby's sensitive scalp. And since the base of this oil is virgin coconut oil, I trusted its effectivity. I use a little amount, like 2 drops, spread it on my palms and apply on my baby's head after taking a bath.

After four days of using the oil, we noticed our baby's scalp was getting clearer, meaning the little hair that she got was thinning. My husband told me to discontinue the use of the oil and I did. After maybe 10 days, we saw that our daughter's scalp was starting to get darker, a sign that new hair was already growing. It had been almost 2 months now since that event and our daughter's hair is steadily growing longer and thicker.

So really as parents, we should be very observant especially with the products that we are using on our children. They do not know how to complain so they just receive everything like a sponge. We should be observant as to how certain products are affecting our children so that we can discontinue use immediately. Thankfully, we stopped using this hair oil before all of our baby's hair fell off. I guess our baby is like me, I don't like oils on my head. They either make me dizzy or give me a headache. So even if this product is hypoallergenic, my baby is better off without hair oil.

And one more lesson, don't listen to what everyone is telling you. Use your head.
