I do a lot of baking. I also like making cupcakes and layer cakes from scratch, so I need a good hand mixer. We have had Hamilton Beach mixers in the past, so we found them to be pretty decent. This M16 is a little different than our previous mixers because it has more beater attachments and it also comes with a snap on storage case.

We like the case because it is supposed to hold the electric wire and also the beaters inside. Actually, we only use our case to store our wire. We store the beaters in our cooking utensil drawer because we find there is not enough room for everything in the case.

It might seem like a bit of a hassle to put the wire back in the snap on case when I am done using the mixer, but the next time I take the mixer out of the cabinet to use, I am happy that I do not have a long dangling wire getting caught on everything on the way out of the cabinet.

The Hamilton Beach has 6-speeds plus a cool quick-burst action when I need that extra power. And when I want a gentle mix, there is a very low speed for that. This mixer is white, so I have to be on top of stains, especially when making devils food cake and chocolate frosting. The mixer is comfortable for me to hold.

This mixer comes with your regular beaters, oval beaters for thicker doughs like cookie doughs, and a whisk for egg whites and whipped cream. I have enjoyed using all of these. The beaters attach easily and I find they are also easy to remove.

I would definitely recommend the Hamilton Beach Hand Mixer with Snap On Case.
