There is a lady in our church who offers a purse ministry that blesses the women she comes in contact with. Bonnie has overcome cancer and treatment and has a genuine heart of gold. I had offered to pay her for her purses but she doesn't want money, she said she just wants to make them and bless the ladies.

One morning she handed me about 8 purses and said to give them to whoever I felt would need one. But she wanted me to pick one first.

I chose this cute brown corduroy bag. All of her purses are made of some kind of pants, whether it be denim jeans, or other fabrics. This corduroy one was the only she made like this. I loved the colors as they remind me of my Aunt who is also battling cancer and lives in Arizona. The trimming has an Aztec look, which is what reminds me of where my Aunt lives. It has a cute tortoise shell plastic buckle on the front. The brown leather straps are made very well and I love how she gave it a little braid.

Some of her handmade bags even have beaded fringe on the bottom and many look like little mini skirts. They really are cute and fun to carry. And having pockets in a purse is a truly wonderful thing. I just need to remember that I put my keys inmy "purse pocket" and not my pants pocket.

Inside of the bag and all of her bags, she has placed all different sizes of pockets that go around the whole inside of the bag. These bags hold a lot of stuff, if you choose and they come in different sizes and color combinations. I love how the outside pockets also hold sunglasses, keys, a cell phone - whatever you want.

Bonnie has been blessed with a great ministry that gives from the heart and asks for nothing in return. She will soon be moving to Costa Rica, which has been another ministry on her and her husband's heart. I know she will be blessing many women there too.

God bless Bonnie and thank you for bringing her into my path.
