Everyone that sees this monitor in my home office comments on the clarity of the screen and asks me where I got it. Prior to my search for a new monitor I had never even heard of HannsG. The price was right and since we already had separate speakers that we could hook up to the new monitor I took a deep breath and ordered it from tigerdirect.com.

I was blown away how easy it was to hook up, I the non-techie had no problem. The hook up took 5 minutes. What a difference this LCD screen has made for me. It certainly is easy on the eyes and I find I can actually see my e-mails from across the room. The picture is crisp with a great resolution and the contrast ratio is what you would expect of a much higher priced monitor.

The monitor is adjustable, but does not swivel which really doesn't matter, since it is so light weight I just turn the whole thing with ease. It has buttons on the side for adjusting the contrast.

It has one flaw, if you want to call it that. The bottom side button shuts off the monitor, but is a bit tricky in that it does not always shut off, unless you press exactly in the center. Since the button is lit up I can always see if it is on. So I simply take another aim at the center of this annoying little button.

Our monitor is not quite two years old now and I have never had any issues. I love the crystal clear screen and like that the 19" widescreen is perfect for working with spreadsheets too. Personally, I will never go back to a smaller screen. Do your eyes a favor and get a HannsG with at least a 19 inch widescreen, you'll be glad you did:)
