I happened to try this video conferencing tool (software), ooVoo, when I visited my brother's house recently. When I went there he just downloaded this software. It can be downloaded for free (just google it). At first I was confused when he asked me to try this tool. So I used his PC, he used his laptop and his wife used her own laptop. What can I say? OMG! It's super great! It was my first time with video conferencing, and it was so cool. :) The images were sharp, unlike other regular messenger (thanks to its High Resololution Video feature) and the audio was great. Well, anyway, my brother uses the free version, so it doesn't come with any additional features that upgraded version has. The video conference for free version is up to three people, and he said it was enough for him, because he usually didn't have many people to talk to. He didn't plan to upgrade it. The conversation could be recorded and the compressed file was in the form of FLV (Flash Video) file. The compression process was fast and good. And what's more, is that those files (our recorded conversation or our own recorded video) can be sent to email addresses (video messaging). I tried to send a video to my hubby's email address, and it worked. My hubby called me and he said he already got it. In order to make this software works, all you need is a webcam, headset, a high speed internet connection, Windows 2000/XP/Vista/Windows 7 (my brother's was XP). Get it now! I myself plan to download the free version. Happy video conferencing with ooVoo!
