I need to take advantage of all my storage spaces, so there are things on really high shelves in my pantry and garage. Even the top shelves of my kitchen cabinets are high. And reaching the back of the cabinet above the refrigerator without help... well, forget it.

Thankfully, I have a Skinny Mini 3-Step Stool by Tricam Industries. The Skinny Mini is very stable when its four feet are on a firm flat surface. You can hold on to the top edge of the frame when climbing and down and feel very secure.

The stairs are ribbed to reduce the chance of your feet slipping. The ladder is constructed in such a way that there are no sharp edges.

The top step is at a height of 30.25 inches. This meets all of my household needs except for cleaning ceiling fans. I use it to clean the chandeliers (over the dining table), to clean walls, and cabinets. I use it to access things on high (for me) shelves, in the kitchen, pantry, office, and garage. It is easy to take from room to room because it only weighs 12.5 pounds and has a carry handle.

The ability of this step stool to fold so flat is very amazing. When closed, the thickest portion is about 2.5 inches. I store it in a 4 inch space between my washing machine and the wall.

My ladder is labeled 'Commercial Type II Stepladder, Duty Rating 225, Ladder Size: 4' 6", Highest Standing Level: 30.25 inches'.

I sometimes even use my Skinny Mini in the garden, but it is not recommended to use it on soft ground because the feet are very small.

I am very happy with my Skinny Mini.
