I am a big fan of my current body cream. A BIG FAN. The brand name is a bit funny, not "haha funny" just you have to explain it a little, for it to make complete sense. The lotion is made by Anti-Body. Anti-Body stands for Anti-Poverty Beautiful-Body. The name of the cream is Fairy Trade because it is made in a fair trade way. To further that point, there is a beautiful fairy on the front.
There's a lot of good stuff about the production of this product. The label is printed on renewable corn paper. The cocoa butter, green tea and shea butter are all fair trade certified.
It feels REALLY nice to apply. You know how so many lotions feel super cold when you apply them, especially in the winter? I hate that. I've found that this cream somehow feels a little less cold when I apply it. It feels much more room temperature-y, than other lotions that I've tried. It is very moisturizing and healing both when I apply it and when it is dry. It does NOT have the best absorption. When I apply it, it seems like I keep spreading and spreading the cream around and it makes a whitish appearance on my skin. I just continue to keep spreading the cream residue further and further and it does finally absorb, but it takes a good long while. That is the only downside.
The cream to me doesn't smell like roses exactly. It has a slight floral smell and then a smell like cake batter. It's a unique scent. I like it and enjoy the lotion very much.
