Okay, I did get this book for free after I had recieved my Amazon Kindle. The normal publisher's price is $5.50. This book is part of the Harlequin Romance books. Would I have bought it if it was free? Probably not? If you want the paper copy of this book, you will probably have a hard time finding it, but it is available on the kindle right now.
what I am about to tell you, pertains to both version as it really does not matter which version of the book you have. Its a book after all and it really does not matter if you have paper or the kindle version. At first, I did have a hard time getting into the book. After a while I did get into it. What we have to remember about this book is that the story is not told from our time, but from a historical time like around the 1800s.
The key to good writing is if you start feeling for the character, which I did with the main character Verity. She lost a lot as a child after her father's apparent suicide. This is where we meet the main characters of the story. If you are interested in these type of stories, you may like this one.
