The Home Trends line of air mattresses are good, sturdy air mattresses for a great price.

I purchased the Full/Double size and was very pleased. The smaller sizes in the line have a maximum weight of 300 lbs and Full/Double or larger support up to 600 lbs. They all come with an automatic air pump that can be hooked into any outlet.

It takes less than 5 minutes for the mattress to fully inflate and the same amount of time to deflate. If power isn't available, you can blow up the mattress manually, though this will take a considerable amount of time. Deflating the mattress without power is pretty quick though.

The underside of the mattress is a strong rubber-like material that shouldn't pop in normal circumstances, though I wouldn't chance it just by putting the mattress on solid ground if you're outdoors -- lay down a thick sheet first. The top of the mattress is a soft velvet-like material that's comfortable to lay on even if you don't have a sheet. If you do have a sheet, the larger mattresses are quite thick, almost 18 inches, so be sure your sheet will fit.

When fully and firmly inflated, sleeping on the mattress is not unlike sleeping on a waterbed, though it can be more difficult to completely change your body position (e.g. laying on your left side, switching to your right side). Sitting on the edge won't cause the mattress to pop, but I wouldn't recommend plopping down onto the mattress.

All in all, this is a good mattress if you need one, and the thickness and comfort of the material are ideal for situations where you may need to use a mattress for an extended period of time.
