I have a little girl and she loves animals. This book was perfect for her. It was one of our night time stories. It was a very interesting plot and story. Honey is one of the Puppy place series books. We ordered it for her for Christmas.

The book consists of 10 chapters and 75 pages. on the last page it has puppy tips; I thought this was really cute. The puppy tip talked about giving a dog a job instead of letting it just be a pet.

Charles a young boy agrees to foster a golden retriever puppy name Honey. On his way home he sees two of his friends Harry and Dee. Dee is in a wheelchair and has a guide dog. Charles wonders if Honey who is so sweet would be a good guide dog. Later on Charles and his friend go to drawing lessons. The drawing instructor Noah is in a wheelchair. Charles talks to his mom to find out how an dog can become a guide dog. He then writes a letter to Mimi from Best Friends who helps train and places guide dogs.. At the end Noah and his family does get the dog and Honey becomes a service dog.

This book touched my hear because yes Charles has to give up Honey but he did a good deed in helping out another friend. I will be getting more of these series of books.
