This laptop, the HP Pavillion Entertainment Notebook (dv6700) is an excellent choice for anyone look for power, mobility, and reliability. I am actually writing this review on it. Currently, I quad boot Windows XP, Vista, Ubuntu 9.04, and a Debian variant of Mac OS X that I created. As I have in the past, I will identify all the different components of the laptop, and rate them individually.

CPU/Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo T5750 (@2.00GHZ). This processor is perfect for this machine. It allows for multi-tasking, as it is dual core and provides plenty of power.

RAM/Memory: The RAM preinstalled is 4GB and can be upgraded to 8GB. 4GB of RAM is perfect, as it allows for multiple applications to be in use, and for 64 bit operating. I have run 27 different applications before I had any problems.

Hard Drive: The hard drive that came on this laptop was a 250 SATA HDD. This is fine for me, I run four operating systems, have 15 movies and 900 songs, as well as 58 installed applications. If you need more then this, you can install a bigger hard drive or use an external hard drive. This is an excellent amount of hard drive space and is very fast.

Graphics: Mobile Intel(R) 965 Express Chipset Family. This graphics chipset is fine, as long as you don't intend to do any serious gaming. It allows for video and picture editing, movie watching, and low to medium level gaming. I feel that these graphics are fine for everyday computing.

Sound: Realtek High Definition Audio Speakers. These speakers are very good, the were manufacutured by Altec Lansing, and intalled by HP. The have many settings for wherever you are physically, and works well with the HP Quickplay touch bar.

Keyboard: The keyboard is full sized, and has excellent response to typing, the keys spring up immediatley.

Networking: The networking capabilities are wireless through the integrated Intel 4965AGN wireless card, which has great range, and an ethernet (RJ-45) port.

Others: DVD-RW Drive, HDMI port, VGA port, SDHC Card port, and S-Video port are all good too.

THE BOTTOM LINE: This laptop is an excellent solution for someone looking for power and mobility. Well worth the $799.99 I purchased it for last year.
