Because I print so many pictures, I go through ink like it's water. As a genealogist, I want my pictures to look as good as possible. There is little as satisfying as finding a photo of an ancestor and being able to restore and print it.
I'm known as the family photographer. Relatives have been known to hide under tables or leave the room when they see me and my trusty camera headed their way. This does not slow me down one bit. I know that eventually, they have to come out. I don't mean to be intrusive. I do believe that having photos of our families is important.
Last year I received a new all-in-one printer, something I have used regularly. This model takes HP 02 cartridges. I've bought replacements at Walmart and office supply stores, but usually buy from HP directly as they offer many good deals on their products and offer free overnight shipping. You can't beat that!
The combo-pack has the following colors: Cyan, Light Cyan, Magenta, Light Magenta and Yellow. Black is purchased separately. I've learned that besides black, yellow is the color used the most. I only purchase the combo-pack if I'm needing more than one color and if the deal is worth it. Occasionally, it's cheaper to order the cartridges separately.
I've used other brands of ink and was not pleased. This is something I don't feel should be skimped on to save a little money. HP offers a great product and I'm a devoted customer.
