One of the main problems our family has with the cold bite of winter is, the air gets too dry in our house.

The winter air gets so dry, we all start getting those nasty, "winter itchies". You know you have the itchies when you are asking anyone to scratch your back for you, even complete strangers.

I had an attack of the winter itchies already. No one was around, so I went outside and started rubbing my back against the tree in our front yard. A few cars stopped, not many.

I knew what we would be in for, so I went up online to those friendly, virtual folks at "Best Buy". I looked over a few of the humidifiers, made a decision, then ordered one.

I ordered Honeywell's - QuietCare, UV Tower - 3-Gallon Humidifier - Black. It has easy set controls, electronic controls with 3 speed setting, good for 1050 sq. ft. It has ultraviolet germicidal technology that cleans the water, reducing germs and bacteria in the air. It is also very quiet.

This Honeywell humidifier has gone a long way to putting some moisture back into the air. It is a more comfortable winter now, that is for sure. No more nasty, winter itchies!

If you live in a winter state, consider the cost of heating bills this winter. If you do not have a humidifier in your home, then there is no moisture in the air to help hold the heat. It may not pay your heating bill, using a humidifier, but it will go a long way to help pay for itself and you will be a lot more comfortable for it.
