This book set on my bookshelf for probably 3 months and I kept trying to pick it up and read it. Finally I made myself get through the first 10 pages or so and I really started to enjoy it. I did not even realize (until after reading this book) that this book is part of a series by Shiloh Walker.Overall I enjoyed the book. I did think that some of the plot and characters got confusing- but this may be because I did not read the series from the beginning. I also felt like there could have been a little more action- whether it be fighting or passion and a little less talking. Still I would recommend this book. I will probably look for more from this author- maybe just not books from this series. The writing style of this book did remind me of a toned down version of Sherrilyn Kenyon, so if you like her books you will probably enjoy this one.
