I've been using Husqvarna products for the past five years, so I know a little about the quality of their products to say the least... So believe me when I tell you, the 235e series Husking is all its cracked up to be and more !!!

My last saw was a 136 Husqvarna I purchased about 5 years ago... Small and compact, but really packed a punch when it came to harvesting firewood... Its light weight allowed me to out-cut many timber cutters two to one in a day's time for two simple facts... The Houseclean 136 was very dependable... And two... Its light weight allowed me to work without much muscle strain...

Just before Christmas 2009, I found myself in need of a new chainsaw before the weather here in Northeast Georgia turned off too cold, so I went down to my local Ace Hardware Store to see what they had in stock. I was really looking to just replace the 136 Husqvarna with the same size saw, but soon found out, Ace Hardware no longer carried the model I was looking for.

At first I was a little bit disappointed because I was really looking forward to getting another saw that was as dependable and hardworking as my 136 Husqvarna... I cut wood 5 days a week for 4 solid years with it, so I know it was built to last... But the salesman told me the only thing they had in the size I was looking for as a 235e series Husqvarna...

After looking it over for a few minutes I could tell it was basically the same size, but a few changes had been made... It seems to adjust the chain, instead of having to use a wrench (which I have had to have on every saw I have ever owned) I was able to adjust the tension on the chain with a flip-out loosen and tighten adjustment, and a thumb screw that enabled me to make adjustments in a fraction of the time I was normally used to. I was very impressed with this feature alone... It normally takes me three to five minutes to adjust the chain, and with this feature, I was able to make the adjustments in just a few seconds !!!

Before writing about the Husqvarna 235e and sending my stamp of approval to all my friends, I needed a couple of weeks just to use the chainsaw on my own turf to see if it met all my requirements... Needless to say, The Husqvarna passed with flying colors !!!

The gas/oil ratio to cords of wood cut is phenominal !!! I've cut close to three cords of firewood (a cord equals 48"x48"x 8') on just a little over a half gallon of fuel mix !!! And the bar oil is equally the same !!! Hands down !!! This is the most economical Chainsaw I have ever had the preveledge of operating !!! I had no idea Husqvarna had made so many advances in their technologies !!! I applaude all the engineers at Husqvarna for making such great strides in such a short period of time !!! Your research and development team are at the top of their class ...

My last two chainsaw purchases have been Husqvarna... And needless to say.. All my future chainsaw purchases will be Husqvarn as well...
