Ever since I received these, my ears have barely been without them. The only time I've taken them off is when it's time to go to sleep, and the reason for that is because I didn't want them to get messed up. Otherwise, I wouldn't take them off at all. They came with this little black bag, so it's easy to just stash them in there. These are made out of .999 fine silver on sterling silver, hand-formed ear wires. They measure 7/8" in diameter. I couldn't tell from the pictures how big these were, so it's good that the artist, Lori Magno, includes the measurements. I really like the size of these. They are big enough so that people take notice, but it's not like they're door knockers or anything. I love the embossed design on these. I think of them as a flat coin. On top of the flattened surface is a super pretty flower that looks like it could be an amazing mehndi (Henna tattoo) design. These have a hand-painted patina applied to them so that they have that antique look. They are made by hand, individually, so they can vary in appearance from pictures. I find that to be the case. They do look like how they do in the photographs, but one does look a bit different than the other. One has a reddish cast on the left side. The other one doesn't. I don't mind this at all. I understand this is a part of the process and I really love these earrings! I recommend Moda di Magno to everyone who is in the market for jewelry. The artist has great customer service skills, and I received the earrings so quickly. These retail on her website for $28.00. I got them for free with a gift card code.
