I haven't used moisturizers most of my life because I have oily skin. When I use moisturizers, I would tend to break out. Instead I would use like papaya soap, etc, so that my face will dry up and pimples will not emerge.
Anyway, when I turned 34 I saw that my face is getting all wrinkly. A friend of mine who owns a dermclinic suggested that I use a light moisturizer like Olay Total Effects 7-in-1 Anti-Ageing Cream.
And I am sooo thankful that I did. I am using the Normal variant with SPF 15 so that I get a certain kind of protection from the sun during the day. I use it twice a day, once in the morning and once at night. After a week of religiously using the product, I noticed that my skin's complexion has thoroughly improved.
On the second week, my skin looks hydrated and the pimple scars or holes on my skin looked more shallow. I am not sure if the product has whitening effect, but my face looks lighter and because it is moisturized, it looks so supple.
Olay though is quite expensive. The 50g bottle costs around $13 and it is already expensive where I am. But since I only need a small amount to cover my entire face, after 3 months, I am still using the same bottle. So it is quite cheap in the long run.
This product has really worked for me and I will not change even to a cheaper brand because it is working wonderfully for me.
