Apart from treating me and my daughter to our first trip to the US of A, my dear hubby even gave me another belated birthday gift - a Cole Haan mocassin and in my favorite chocolate brown hue!!! What more can a girl like me ask for?
I was happily browsing on the beautiful shoes in the Cole Haan boutique in the Fashion Outlet Mall at Primm Valley and he called me out. So I went to where he was while holding this precious, little thing (which was soon-to-be-mine shoes!). He saw it and said if I liked it. I told him yes and right there and then, he took the box and paid for it. Wow! I didn't even have to insinuate nor give my puppy-eyes look to signal my great "desire" to have it. Hahahaha!
I love the smoothness of the leather, the texture and grain of the leather and not to mention the great design. The intricatesole and heel design are plain marvelous, I haven't seen shoes like that! You'll see what I am talking about on the photos I posted here. A caveat though, I don't think you can use this shoes on stoney street where it can ruin the leather under the shoes by getting poked and scratches.
The heels are low which are good for walking. The only thing I find a little annoying is that I have broad feet so the buckle area bites on my skin. I just put lotion or wear foot stocking to minimize the friction. The soles have the Cole Haan logo on them and rubberized to avoid slipping.
The inside of the shoes is fully lined and padded for added comfort.
The box is sturdy which you can keep to store the shoes and it also comes with a protective cloth bag to store the shoes.
I just love this Cole Haan shoes.
