I have always wanted to drive big cars. My first vehicle was a second hand Kia Sportage which I bought from a friend who was leaving. That vehicle gave me so many problem until one day, it just would not start anymore.

My husband surprised me for my 36th birthday. He bought me a Hyundai Tucson 2008 model because he knew I always wanted big cars with space. Not that I am particular with performance and speed but I just wanted to have a car that is big enough to carry our luggages when we go on trips which we always do.

The SUV is a Korean made. As a lady-driver, I am not very keen about speed as I drive with care and usually abide by the speed limit in this place. It is fairly fast and so easy to maneuver around considering its size. I asked my husband for its tech specifications and here they are:

2.0 ltr unleaded and 6-cylinder

2WD (because I won't be driving around the desert anyway...and it's cheaper to pay for 2WD than 4WD)

Automatic Transmission

Rear door. (Either glass door or the main rear door)

Alloy wheels

Mac. with coil spring and gas type shock absorber

Single airbag for driver

Power windows, side-view mirrors, steering and locks

Front and rear wipers both with sprays

Digital clock

Center console with cup holders and over head console with eyeglass holder

AM/FM radio and cassette player

Cigarette lighter jack x 2 (one in front and at the back of the center console

Luggage net

Front and rear mud guard

Extra wheel space at the back with matting and allocated space for tools as well

Fog lights included

Steel bars on top of the vehicle to hold surf boards or other big stuff (I don't know what those bars are called...)

Although seating is limited to 5 including the driver, we are only 3 in the family so I am not concerned about that. The wide space at the back is intended for hauling our big luggages when we travel.

We take the vehicle regularly for maintenance checks so far, we have never experienced any hiccups. I am satisfied with this car since it is a gift too. I don't mind if it's not as sporty nor trendy as other vehicles out there. It's what I want to drive and I love it.
