I really do love Prevention Magazine and for so many reasons! First, they have nice brief bursts of information and because of that format, they are able to cover a wide range of topics in every issue. Second, they have a little bit of everything for anyone. Third (and sometimes most important), the magazine dimensions are roughly the size of a paperback book, making it an awesome grab-and-go to read at the gym or waiting for appointments, fitting perfectly into a purse or gym bag.
While the headlines change monthly you can be sure to find the same general information in pretty much every issue. These include ( but are never limited to) nutrition, excersize, general health and health product "buzz", recipies, home remedies and where to go for further information on all subjects. I especially enjoy their "My Prevention" list that shows up in the begining of each issue. Baisically, a one page summary of all the topics covered that you can clip out as a reminder for the month on all their latest advice.
If you check out their web site www.prevention.com you can get a real feel for the magazine and test drive their content and focus. Primarily, I would recommend it to women 40+, but seeing as I love it and don't fit in that catagory, I thought I would share my findings!
