In October, I won an iPod Touch from the company Arteworks SEO by participating in a contest of theirs. I was really excited to be able listen to music and to use the internet on it. A main thing I do online is go on Twitter, so I soon realized I needed an "app" to do this. One such "app" is called Echofon (Formerly called Twitterfon). Echofon is free. There is also a pro version for $4.99.
Echofon allows me to access Twitter completely. When I tried to access Twitter without an app I was unable to do many actions. I went in through Safari and logged in that way by just typing in the website and putting in my information. When you do this, you can only tweet. You can't retweet what people say. Retweeting is when you copy a person's entire tweet then write "RT @their username". This action can be very useful. Without Echofon, I couldn't see my DMs (Direct messages) or my @ messages (Kind of like instant messages) in an organized way either. I find this program absolutely indispensible, and I wouldn't be without it.
