I have tried the iPhone through my friend who got hers from Hong Kong at $750. It is really expensive for Asian users. However, since my friend is really updated with gadgets, she got one.
We talked about it one day and I tried it and I understood why she said it was difficult to use. For one, the orientation of the text messaging is in English, and it is difficult for Filipinos to text in our language. At the same time, there is no group messaging and message forwarding feature. These are the features that are most often used by mobile phone users here in the Philippines.
So for its price, I don't think it is worth for users in my country. If ever they develop something new, I hope the company will consider these features. We like Nokia better.
