My aunt both this from Dubai, she gave each of her siblings one piece of this rechargeable lamps when she went home for Christmas and New Year.
Philippines has been having problems with regard to brownouts due to El Nino. Hydroplants are incapable of producing electricity because there are not enough water in Dams and the solution posted by our government is the rotating brownouts. This rechargeable lamp came in handy, as if my aunt was able to predict how useful this would be. We use to use candles for lighting during brownouts but because of El Nino as well, candles aren't safe as it is one main cause of fires. Fires can easily spread due to the effects of El Nino so basically the rechargeable lamp is one lifesaver.
This lamp has 2x6W Flourescent tubes and the good is that it will automatically light up during power failure. It also has a search light functionality and blinkerso it is pretty much handy for almost every lighting needs. We use this one for camping too since it is portable as well as during All Saint's Day when we visit our relatives who have already crossed another life and also, my daughter also uses this with her friends since I bought her a tent and they would pretend to go on camping outside the house.
All in all, the lamp is one good investment as If I was the one who bought it, hahahaha...
