Coming up to this time off year we all like to get the paint brushes out and get the house decorated for Christmas, well this year I left it pretty late I'm only starting now. We have a paint shop just around the corner from where we live, I hadn;t ever purchased anything from the shop before now so wasn't sure exactly what paint they done.

Usually I use Leyland as it doesn't have much fumes when used, but anyway in this local shop they sell most kinds of paints but the most popular paint was Macpherson's interior Trade paint, for a 10L tub the cost was £13.99 which I thought was reasonable enough.

The tub is similar to other 10 L tubs with the usual information at the back and front of the packaging, the lid is easily removed to reveal the paint (which in my case is Magnolia) The paint is quite thick and upon opening there wasn't much off a smell to it either, which is good as my son is an Asthmatic and paint fumes is one of his Asthma triggers.

When I used the paint I found that it was indeed quite thick and covered the walls well, it was really easy to spread too, I was painting over cream in the sitting room and white in the kitchen, both rooms only needed one coat, however I am not sure if this would be the case if using the paint on darker colors, like I said there wasn't much of a smell after painting both rooms there wasn't really any fumes, all in all I am pleased with this paint, Highly recommended!!

Thanks for reading!!
