I just got another amazing buy on Ebay. It's a new with tags, slightly flared skirt, made by Carolyn Strauss. It came from Shopping Channel Designs, and what a steal it was for $8.00 including the shipping. All of their clothing is either overstocks or customer returns, so the potential for bargains is great.
It's a very lightweight knit stretch fabric, with just a slight sheen, and it's perfect for dress-up or casual wear. The material is 90% polyester and 10% spandex. It fits straight through the hips, then ends in a bit of a flare at the bottom, which makes it drape and hang beautifully. It can be machine washed, and either dried flat, or hung up to dry (which is what I normally do with this type of material.) And it is a beautiful Kiwi color, which I can easily wear right into Spring and Summer.
Imagine my delight when I opened the package, and the dealer also sent me a matching scarf for free! It too still had the tags on it. It is Kiwi on one side, and Navy Blue on the other, and will add a nice touch to the outfit.
I am so glad that I discovered shopping online. Once you learn the correct size in certain designers, then you can be sure that the fit will be right. I rarely make a mistake anymore in sizing, particulary with a stretch knit material. It's fun and always a bargain!
