In The Bruges is written and directed by Martin Mcdonagh and stars Colin Farrell, Brendan Gleeson, Clemence Poesy and Ralph Fiennes.

This is a crime drama with some comedy in it.

In The Bruges is the story of two hitmen Ken and Ray (Gleeson and Farrell) sent to Bruges, Belgium after one of them botches a hit on a priest killing not only a priest but a young innocent bystander. Once in Belgium one enjoys it while the other struggles to get a handle on what he did. Along the way they meet a host of crazy characters.

This movie is rated R for violence, drugs and a lot of bad language.

Overall, I liked this movie. The director/writer is fairly new in movies and offers a different perspective on this movie. It was sad, funny and odd at times but never dull. The Belgium and UK locations were very nice with most of the film being done in a very old but scenic city called Bruges.
