I've been using this in conjunction with the purifying gel cleanser I received from Bzzagent.com. I use it after cleansing. I haven't experienced any serious burning from it. I've heard some people say it stings a lot, so I think it differs from person to person. I haven't used it on any raw or open pimples. They've all been closed bumps.

The smell of this is distinctive. Woo, it is powerful! It smells like licorice and alcohol. Not my favorite scent.. at all, since I don't even like licorice candy. It is not so repugnant that I am unable to use the treatment, however. I definitely notice the scent when I open the bottle and first apply it, but I tend to forget about it while wearing it.

This comes in a nice glass bottle which can be recycled. The net wt. is .26 fl. oz / 7 mL. I don't love the applicator on this. You need a Q-Tip or a cotton ball to apply it to your face. Sometimes when I shake or tap the bottle to get product out, random drops go into the air or wherever they fall, and that can be a bit annoying.

This is 100% natural and has 0.75% salicylic acid in it. I haven't noticed any breakouts while using it so far. Whenever I see a pimple surfacing I just put a little on and it seems to dry it out and heal it faster. I've also applied it to areas I tend to break out as a preventative measure. You can apply it 2x a day, morning and evening.
