We were at Rite-Aid picking up some last minute items for out trip to the beach when my son told us he wanted some toys to play with in the sand. We took him over to the summer toys section of the store and check out what they had. There were several sets available but the one we picked was the 6 piece sand toy set for $4.99.

The set includes:

* a bucket

* a sifter

* a small shovel

* a large shovel

* 2 sand molds

All of the items were made of sturdy plastic so they were ridged enough to dig down deep into the wet sand with out bending or breaking. The bucket handle was attached very well and did not break even after many trips to and from the ocean filled with water. The large shovel worked really well for digging holes and moving lots of sand at one time. The only problem we had with the set was with the large fish mold. Because of it's size, the wet sand would get stuck in parts of it and we were never able to get a perfect fish shape.

My whole family played with the set for hours and for the money, it is the perfect set of sand toys for the beach or the sand box.
