I'm trying to get an early start on making Christmas cards this year. I found a rubber stamp that goes back to my Dutch heritage of Sinterklaas and Zwarte Piet (St. Nicholas and Black Peter).
I purchased my stamp on ebay and the person that sent it to me included several variations of the finished stamp using embossing inks.
When picking up my supplies I chose Inkssentials Solvent Stamp Cleaner to clean my rubber stamp of the residue left from the embossing pad. I want this rubber stamp to last a long time as it took me about 5 years to find it!
This 2 oz. bottle has a dabber top which makes it easy to use. All you do is press the dabber against the stamp surface which starts the release of the cleaning solvent. You let it sit on your stamp for about a minute and then rub the cleaner and ink off with a paper towel. Keeping my rubber stamps clean will make them last a long time and also make for a clean, sharp stamp image.
This cleaner contains Ethanol; Triprapylene glycol methyl ether and isopropanol. Care should be taken to keep this away from children, in a cool, dry place, and be sure to use it in a well ventilated area.
This cleaner does a great job and should last quite sometime unless you are doing a lot of stamping with solvent-based inks. I would recommend this and Happy Stamping!
