I got this radio for Christmas. I already had a machine I could hook my iPod up to, but this could actually play my favorite stations and charges my iPod. There is a port on the top for an iPod, and it comes with little plastic attachments for each kind of iPod. You don't need these attachments to play an iPod, they are really just there to make the radio look better. Other MP3 players can be played on it, but requires a cord (not included) that can be bought at any electronics store. The feature I like the most is that I can set my alarm to be my music instead of an annoying buzzer (it still has the buzzer option though). It also has sleep mode, which can be set from 10 minutes up to an hour. The sound quality is great. One feature that some people may not like is how the batteries work. Batteries are not needed, but it has a slot for 2 AAA batteries. What they do is keep the time and alarm settings for you when you unplug it from the wall. The radio will not actually run off the batteries, they just keep a small amount of power in it so you don't have to reset everything when it's unplugged from the wall. Another feature that may annoy some consumers is that the clock also functions as a night light. If you need to sleep in complete darkness then you don't want this in your room. I like it because if I get up in the middle of the night I have some light. Overall, I like the radio and recommend it to anyone, especially if you have an iPod.
