Insignia is the in-house brand of Best Buy. They've been churning out these cheeky little MP3 players with what many may consider low capacity. But, it's no different from an iPod nano. There are 2GB and 4GB version avaliable. I had the 2GB.

Audio quality sounds great. Getting music on is simple; just click and drag. The player is small and thin, but not so much as a nano. The earbuds are trash. Sound quality is average, but the deal killer for me was that they were really uncomfortable. The extras are where this player really shines. There is an FM radio which I use literally all the time. And the really neat part - it plays video! (hence the name) Just use the bundled software to transfer MPEG and AVI onto the player and watch away to your heart's content, which won't a problem because the screen is actually easy to view, and very bright.

So for the price of an iPod nano, you get an FM radio, video capability, and you get to avoid feeling like another sheep in the flock. Fantastic.
