Obviously, the iPhone was released with much hype surrounding it, and the iPhone 3G, if possible, was even more hyped. The iPhone 3G addressed any faults encountered with the original iPhone 2G, and it has worked a treat. The revolutionary user interface designed by Apple is the easiest to use of any touchscreen, made all the better by the capacitive touchscreen designed and created by Apple.
The iPhone combines a fully functioning mobile, an iPod touch and an internet surfing device all into one sleek design, and it delivers on every count, save for one or two improvements. It seems strange that Apple only fitted a 2MP camera, without flash or autofocus to such a high spec phone. As well as this, the battery life of the phone leaves something to be desired, however with all of the features that Apple has packed into this revolutionary phone, this was to be expected.
To summarise, the iPhone is a stunning piece of technology, with its unrivalled App store at its disposal, and is the front runner in the phone market today. So far, other phone manufacturers have attempted to knock Apple off of the top spot, but none have been successful.
