I received the Ipod Nano as a gift for my birthday and the overall experience has been ok. The quality of music and the overall storage capacity is a nice upgrade from the second generation, but the Ipod still has some issues. I find myself wondering why apple refuses to put an FM tuner into their Ipod's. Nearly every other MP3 player on the market has an FM tuner but Apple has yet to add one to their Ipods. The second problem is that I find my Nano freezing every so often. While I can easily reset my Ipod by hold down the center and menu key it is a nascence to constantly have to reset it. These are the only real two problems that I have with my nano so let's talk about the cool new features. Apple this time has decided to take a completely different approach to the menu system. The menu no longer takes up the full screen and instead comes out about halfway so that you can still see what music is playing. Apple has also added video to this version of the nano. I find it quite convenient that I am able to play episodes of my favorite shows on my Ipod instead of having to drag my psp along with me. Other than that everything else is the same. You have your good old games, stopwatch, and contact book that I find myself rarely using. All in all the new Ipod nano is a nice upgrade from previous Ipods but able still has some work to go when it comes to the little things.
