The iPod Shuffle 2nd Generation is the most recent redesign of the iPod Shuffle, Apple's smallest version of the iPod.
The most amazing thing about the new Shuffle is its tiny size. It weighs about half an ounce, and is the size of a large postage stamp. It is so tiny, I am actually afraid of losing it. Thankfully, the new built-in clip helps with keeping track of it. It is also very difficult to break, since it has no moving parts.
The iPod Shuffleis, however, a very basic player. In order to shrink the size, the screen has been removed from the Shuffle, so songs can only be played randomly or in the order they were loaded on. The Shuffle also has only 1 GB of storage, which severely limits the number of songs it can hold. These flaws make the Shuffle unsuited to be a primary music player, but is excellent as a secondary or workout player, or for someone who doesn't have much music.
