Hi there everyone, thanks so much for taking the time to read my review. I've always been a tech geek, I admit it. I've always been fascinated with newer technology.. it really doesn't matter what it is. Could have to do with sports, computers, phones, internet, I'm sure you get the picture.. Anyways, when the magic jack came out, I had always been so intrigued. I was always wondering if it really was magic..

So a few months ago I ordered it online. I talked it over with my wife, and she said she would prefer to keep our home phone for now, which we really don't use very often. I agreed, in case we had any trouble.. So we bought the magic jack, it came a month later. All I did was take it out of the box, plug it in to my USB connection, and the installation screen popped up all by itself, no software to install off a CD. I thought that was brilliant!

From there I went a head and made a few calls, once it was all configured. One to my buddy who lives in the same neighborhood, Karen called her friend that lives pretty close.. everything went smoothly and was crystal clear. After that, we both called out parens.. Mine live pretty close, probably 30 miles away, not too far.. The sound quality was great and very clear.. When Karen called her family though (who live in Maine, we're in Arizona) the call quality was just a tiny bit off, since it was reaching so far. Not bad though, definitely worked wonders, especially for only $19.95 a month! That's almost 10 times cheaper than the majority of the other providers. So sweet!

So overall, I really love the magic jack, it worked great, sounded great, and continues to work very well for us!
