After getting a iPhone I wanted something to keep it protected. Despite it being supposedly quite a tough phone, I just wanted to protect my little investment. After looking at many different Griffin, Gear4 and Belkin cases, I decided on the iSkin Revo2.
While being a bit costly at $40, I can assure you it is made to a much higher quality than any other case I have seen or used. The silicone has a much stiffer feel and is covered with a cool coating that doesnt attract lint and dust in your pocket. I decided on the plain black one. The blue one looks pretty good, but I wanted something that did not look too loud. It also has a translucent area around the earphone so that the proximity and light sensors can keep functioning. All ports are covered inpeccably. The only open areas on the device is the screen, earphone, camera, bottom speakers and the silent/ringer switch. The port coverings fold over when not in use. Overall much better than any other iPhone case.
The case also comes with a hard plastic covering that protects the screen of the phone. Cool idea, but really a nuisance. You have to remove it eery time you want to use the phone. So when the phone rings, you need to remove the screen covering. It can be clipped on the back of the device, but I decided to remove it completely. In the box you will also get a static screen protector which works quite well and doesnt give install issues like some other screen films.
Would I recommend it? Yes. But take a look at the cool new iSkin Fuse case...
