My husband and I have been an Adam Sandler fan for a while now. We watch his movies at least once or twice week sometimes more. When Mr Deeds came out I was very excited because I love Winona Ryder. I thought both would make a great on screen couple. It turns out I was right.

This movie stars Adma Sandler, Winona Ryder, and John Tuturro.

The story is about a wealthy media magnate who passes away and has no wife or children to leave his fortune to. After some question from the media, fans, and his emplyers about who will take over his fortune, it is found that Longfellow Deeds (Sandler), is his nephew who is living in Illinoise and owns a pizza parlor and writes greeting cards. In order to claim the $40 billion inheritance, he travels to New York where Blake's former associates Chuck Cedar and Cecil Anderson introduce him to the city while trying to figure out how to get their hands on his new fortune. Meanwhile, Mac McGrath, the producer of a sleazy tabloid television show, wants to get the inside scoop on Deeds, and comes up with perfect way to get it: he sends beautiful but unscrupulous reporter Babe Bennett (played by Winona Ryder), to sweep Deeds off his feet while she's wired for sound. Convincing Deeds that she's from a small town just like himself, Bennett quickly wins his heart, but while his affection is sincere, hers is not. Deeds decides it's time he did something big with his money, while Cedar and Anderson think they've finally found a way to take control of Deeds' holdings.

John Tuturro, plays the quirky and mystical butler who takes care of Deeds while he is New York.

This is great comedy filled funny scenes and quotes that you will be sure to laugh all the way through.
