One of my favorite children's shows for Easter is It's The Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown. Originally made in 1974 by Charles Schulz, I consider this a Peanut's classic! Since the Easter Beagle animated cartoon is not very long in length, I was happy that another special, It's Arbor Day, Charlie Brown, is included on the same disc.

Linus is at it again. He is trying to convince everyone that they don't need to color eggs or prepare for Easter because the Easter Beagle will take care of everything. While this is the main theme going on here, I thought Peppermint Patty and Marcy coloring Easter eggs was the funniest feature in Easter Beagle. And who could forget Snoopy's first look into Woodstock's newly decorated birdhouse apartment! Loved it!

My one regret is that I wish the Easter Beagle movie was longer and showed more of the actual Easter holiday such as the kids finding their baskets. That said, I am so grateful we even have a Peanuts Easter movie at all.

It's Arbor Day, Charlie Brown is a wonderful movie. In it, the Peanuts gang goes on a planting frenzy in, of all places, Charlie Brown's baseball diamond!!!... only Charlie Brown doesn't find out until the day of the first baseball game of the season against Peppermint Patty's team! Lots of fun here!

The packaging is pretty and festive. The sturdy DVD case has an extra slip-on outer cover done in metallic purple. The DVD itself is decorated on one side to make it easier for kids to know which end goes up in the DVD player.

This is a terrific DVD for spring! I am happy I bought it.
