The ivanko super gripper is used to develop forearm and wrist strength. The thing I love about it is its very portable and can be used anywhere. The Super-Gripper also allows me to get past sticking points much easier as theres 50 adjustment levels you can make with the springs. The product can also make a great aid in helping with any weight lifting workout that puts pressure on the forearms. The dead lift in particular can be made easier once you develop the forearm strength to better hold on to heavier weight especially if your a power-lifter. The product is very affordable and I can get a very good workout. I would also recommend this for people where barbells are too dangerous or just want to get a strength workout over with and don't want to deal with the hassle of barbell lifting and loading and unloading plates. The product is very convenient and just gets straight to the source of building strength. Having extra wrist and forearm strength helps with any physical activity I do and makes me feel more coodinated and in control. The product is also very well made and crafted. Be sure to undo the springs after each workout because the springs can where down over time if not. The Spring Adjustment level on the Super-Gripper have resistance as low as 45lbs to up to 245lbs. Talk about a challenge. The resistance level can get challengeing causing my hands to get sweaty. I wish they could have something to put over the the super-gripper so my hands would not get so sweaty when the exercise gets more intense. They could have added something on to the super-gripper handle area so hands wouldn't get so sweaty so people can keep a better grip when the workout gets more challenging. Thats the only complaint I have about the product.
