I hate dirty jewelry. I think jewelry should shine and sparkle. It should grab people's attention. It should bring beauty to the owner.

I do not have a lot of "good" jewelry so what I do have I want to make sure it is clean and not damaged. I tried the Gem and Jewelry Cleaner from Reeds Jewelers and was very impressed. Not only did it clean my gold ring very nicely but it was easy and took no time at all.

As per the directions, all that I had to do was to place my ring into the jar containing the cleaning liquid, put the top on tightly and shake the container gently. I was advised not to leave my jewelery in longer than 2 to 3 minutes. For really dirty items, can leave in for 3 to 5 minutes. Then all that needs to be done is to rinse the piece of jewelry and wipe it dry. My ring was sparkling again.

There is a warning though that this product should not be used with soft or porous stones such as opal, coral and tiger eye.
