Once in a while, you come across a perfume that is not just "good, " "fine, " "nice fragrance" but something very special that really stands out. For me, JLo Glow was such a case. At first I was attracted by the slim long-necked bottle that had a JLo necklace on - a rather unusual look. I did not really expect to like the scent since I am not into celebrity crazes, so if a perfume or a clothes line gets a celebrity name on it, it by no means makes it any better in my eyes. However, this fragrance endorsed by Jennifer Lopez turned out to be fascinating.
I applied some of the perfume to my wrist, sniffed it and thought it was somewhat familiar. The light floral fragrance wouldn't leave me alone, I couldn't stop thinking what is was like and what it was reminding me of. Some kind of a flower... Tulip? No, not that. Definitely not rose. Some gentle, spring time blossom... Then I finally pinpointed it: Lily of the valley! Yes, that's what it is. My grandma had these flowers in her garden, I loved them, and that's what JLo Glow reminds me of.
The fragrance was not strong, but it lingered all day. I could still distinguish it even after I washed my hands: the spot on my wrist where I had applied some of the perfume at the store still had a hint of this beautiful fragrance. I have since ordered my own bottle of JLo Glow; it is now one of my favorite perfumes.
