This is a review about another great entertainer who unfortunately is no longer with us. A loss for music lovers all around the world. Fortunately for me this I have a couple of his concerts and this one was recorded live at the Sydney Opera house in Australia.

This is typical John Denver greatness at its finest. This was recorded back in November of 1977 if memory serves me correctly. At first this masterpiece was only released in the country of Australia. This particular concert also marked some changes that John had made in his band. Lee Holdridge and his orchestra always have sounded wonderful with many of John's songs. For this particular concert James Burton and Glenn Hardin were added to the list of musicians. They formerly had been with Elvis Presley. Also I do not want to forget to mention one of my personal favorites Hal Blaine who specialty is the drums.

Some of John's greatest songs were part of this concert such as Rocky Mountain High, Back Home Again, Me And My Uncle, Grandma's Feather Bed, Thank God I'm A Country Boy and of course Annie's Song. This is definitely a must for all John Denver music lovers. I know I have listened to this concert many times and I just never tire of it.
