I bought the Air Jordan Retro 6 Oreos earlier this year and absolutely love them. I got these with some Christmas money and I would definitely say they were worth it. I got these, instead of any other shoes, because they're very stylish, they're relatively inexpensive (for Jordans) and I didn't have any white and black shoes.
These are some of the most comfortable shoes I own and there's really nothing bad to say about the feel of them. I own a pair of Air Jordan 60 Plus's and would without a doubt say the Jordan Retro 6 Oreos are more comfortable. This could partly be because the Oreos are a "shoe within a shoe." They are the first Jordans to have an inner boot, which is made out of a very comfortable padded material.
These shoes are made out of many different materials. The upper is mainly white leather, but also has suede and rubber. The inside of the shoe is that inner boot i mentioned before and is very comfortable. The sole has a combination of white and clear rubber and a black "Jumpman" symbol. I gave the materials a 4.5 rating because the suede can get ruined with water (I would recommend that you waterproof these shoes) and it's very noticable when the white parts of the shoe get dirty.
This shoe is obviously called the Oreo because it's all black and white. I like this colorway a lot because you can wear black and white with pretty much anything. Also, on the bottom and the pull tab on the back of the shoe there are some white speckles on black rubber. This really makes the shoe unique because not many shoes have this. The one negative thing about the color is that white gets dirty very easily, so if you want them to look good you pretty much have to clean them everyday.
I love the design of these shoes. It's a classic of all the Retro Jordans and one of my favorites. I've heard rumors that the pull tab on the back is supposed to resemble a spoiler on a Porsche. Also, if you look at the shoe's side theres supposed to be an abstract 23 on it, but i can't really see it. The speckled lace lock and lace cover, both with the Jumpman logo, really add some flavor to these shoes and make them look intricate. One of my favorite parts of this shoe is the tongue. It's sort of hard to describe but I think you can get a good view of it in some of my pictures.
I personally thought that spending $130 on a pair of shoes was ridiculous, but now that I've worn these shoes for a little over a month I have to say it was definitely worth it. I'll admit I haven't worn them everyday because it's been pretty snowy here in upstate New York, but when I have worn them I've absolutely loved them and have received many compliments as well. These shoes seem to be holding up very well and since I've been cleaning them they look brand new.
Overall I would have to say that I love Air Jordan Retro 6 Oreos. You can wear them with pretty much anything and they're extremely comfortable. Some other good colorways are the Pistons Edition, Bulls Edition, Infrareds and the Motor Sports. I would definitely recommend this shoe to any guy that's trying to look fresh. eBay is probably the best place to find these shoes since they're not brand new. If you're looking to buy these I wouldn't spend more than $140 on them.
