Now this was a cool surprise! I received this as a win last month by participating in a promotion on Redken's Facebook page. I definitely love high-end beauty products, and I consider this brand to be "up there" with the best of them for hair care.
This is a sample size of their product. The tube is 1 fl. oz. It should last me around a month, maybe even two, depending on how much I use it. Lately, I've been using some on my damp hair after towel-drying. Sometimes I apply it once my hair is dry, but freshly washed. When I use it then, I find that it adds a bit of softness, a bit of shine and a bit of definition. What I don't see is total frizz annihilation, which I'd love. It also doesn't hold down the flyaways at my part. When I use it, I use a medium sized dab for my whole head.
The consistency of this is not a liquid like one might think with a title with "milk" in it. It is a hair cream. Make sure not to use too much of this. It will make your hair feel loaded up with product. I did that one day when it was really humid out. I thought if I took my dry hair, section by section with a dab or two for each part, it would make my hair look smooth with calmed down waves. I found that after the cream dried, my hair looked pretty much the same, but felt like it was covered with the stuff.. which it was.
Some ingredients in here that are good are: shea butter to condition, dimethicone for frizz control (I need more!) and wheat protein for strength and moisture. The control of this is mild. I think that it is more geared toward those with finer hair types rather than coarse and wild. I wouldn't buy this product, but for now, I enjoy using it. It has a nice, sweet fragrance.
