These have to be about six years old by now. It's hard to believe since the colors are still brilliant and the fabric is still in excellent condition. My mom bought these for me to prepare for college. She thought buying a couple sets of reusable napkins, would be a much better value than buying package after package of disposable paper napkins.
We went to a Crate and Barrel outlet that had a lot of marked down things. I don't remember exactly how much these cost. They may have been two for five. Possibly more, possibly less.
They are made out of cotton and feel like soft denim. On the laundry information tag, it says to wash these cold and line dry. I did that for a long time. Recently, I tried drying them on tumble-dry low and even sometimes, washing the light tan napkin with stripes in warm water. I haven't noticed a difference at all in the napkins when washing and drying in other ways. They are still perfect.
I love that these are so durable and can be used again and again. I feel like I am doing something good for the Earth rather than using napkins that I'd just throw away.
