Elvis Presley stars in this 1958 movie about a troubled boy who knows how to entrance New Orleans with his singing. But he has to reckon with a mobster (played by Walter Matthau) and his moll (played by Carolyn Jones of Addams Family fame) and just when it looks like everything will be OK for Elvis, we have to wonder if he is going to get caught up in crime.
Elvis sings songs such as "King Creole", "Trouble", "Hard-Headed Woman", "Lover Doll", and more. The movie is 115 minutes long and is in black and white. It has a PG rating.
Special features include widescreen format, Dolby Digital, English subtitles, interactive menus, scene selection and a theatrical trailer.
King Creole was a good movie, though it is not my favorite when it comes to the movies that Elvis made. If you are an Elvis fan, though, you would still enjoy watching this movie and being entertained by his music, which he always performed so well.
