I have a lot of fun playing paintball and after numerous excursions with the rental pump guns, I decided that I needed my own marker. The guns that you typically rent are often cheap and poorly maintained. I still have fun, but also waste many frustrating hours clearing out jammed paintballs and troubleshooting depleted air tanks. I looked at several places online and happened across ebay. They have a lot of different types of guns so I had to do a lot of digging to find the one that was right for me. I read all the reviews and settled upon the Spyder Extra from Kingman. The set I found came with six ammo canisters for holding paintballs and a vest to carry the canisters. It also contained the mask, air tank, cleaning supplies and of course the gun. It’s very lightweight and very powerful. The last two times I brought it out, they had to dial down the power because it was a little too strong for the course limits. This is easily done and easily reversible after your day of shooting is over. You would think that with such power, you would lose some of the accuracy. That is not the case with this marker. I’m still able to pick my shots effectively without having to sacrifice my aim. The gun is semi-automatic which means a paintball will fire as quickly as you can pull the trigger. I haven’t had any paintballs burst in my chamber, so I haven’t had to waste any time trying to clear out my barrel in the middle of a gunfight. I wipe all surfaces down after I’m done for the day and am all ready for the next time. I’m extremely pleased with my Spyder Extra and recommend it to anyone from paintball novices to experts.
