If you have ever wondered about Kirkland premium diapers…here’s the scoop!
I normally use Pampers Cruisers and have recently discovered Luvs. Those are the brands I use regularly and so I will be comparing these Kirkland Premiums to those brands in this review.
My mother in law got me a 184 count case of Kirkland Premiums. If she hadn’t, I probably never would have tried these.
Let me start with the fit. These have a good fit. I have a chucky boy who wears a size 4 and these fit pretty good. The waist band and side tabs have only a slight stretch to them. I am used to Luvs now (that’s what I have been using most lately) and Luvs have a super stretchy waistband. So I will say that the Kirklands tend to be a tiny bit looser around the waist on my son. Don’t get me wrong…we aren’t/haven’t had any problems…they stay up and on just fine.
The size also seems to be a little larger than the other brands even though for size 4 Kirkland says it fits 22 to 37 lbs like all the other brands (my son is 24.5 lbs). Every baby is different…I have just noticed what seems to be a slight difference between the other brands and this one.
The tabs are GREAT! The Velcro doesn’t wear out and loose their stick after multiple opening and closing.
The material Kirkland uses for these diapers feels much more heavy duty than any of the diapers I’ve tried (this includes Huggies, Luvs, and Pampers). They are still nice and thin with no weird bulkiness and they absorb very well. They are soft and We have had no leaks, No blow outs…no problems.
I don’t have any complaints! Other than Costco is to far away from where I live to buy these regularly! i would like to add that for a store brand I was absolutely blown away by the quality. Kirkland Premium Disposable diapers are just as good/has the same quality and performance as the name brand -top of the line disposable diapers out there.
I would recommend giving these a try…diapers are expensive and with these…the price is a good value! My mother in law paid about $36.00 for the case (184 count)
