Lately when I've gone to Walmart for my usual paper towels, I've been finding them out of stock, so I've had to try other brands as a replacement. I recently bought Viva paper towels, a Kleenex brand, and I really like them. I purchased the pack with six big rolls, in plain white, and these towels are strong. On the package, it states that they are soft and strong like cloth, and that claim is correct. They are like cloth. They even have a little bit of give to them.
Viva Towels also come in prints, which I might try later on. I mostly use just plain white. The six pack has the choose a size feature, where the towels are perforated so that I can choose either a smaller size or a larger size, depending on what type of job I am going to be using the towel for. These towels have received the 2008 Chef's Best Performance award, which I thought was impressive. And Viva is also donating a portion of their proceeds to The Breast Cancer Foundation, which is also impressive.
I like the texture of these towels, and they make cleanup jobs more pleasant because they really do have more strength and durability to them. Viva really does feel like cloth, and I may be using these towels more often, even when my usual brand is available.
